Our Cleaning Process

At Overspray Experts, we only use hand-based techniques (NO high-speed equipment) and products that will never damage the surfaces we are cleaning. After a liability determination and a successful clean-ability test, the cleaning process begins.

Step 1:

Pre-Cleaning Inspection - Examine the surface with the claimant to acknowledge and document any pre-existing scratches, dings, rock chips, burns, swirl marks, chipped glass, etc. on the surface.

Step 2:

Wash - This stage removes all incidental dirt and prepares the surface for the main overspray removal steps.

Step 3:

Overspray Removal - We then apply the appropriate products and techniques for the type of contaminant and surface being cleaned.

When working on vehicles, this process preserves the integrity of a vehicle's surface while gently removing the paint dots or other substances from the vehicle with NO PAINT LOSS. Unlike compounds or sanding it does no damage to the painted surface or clear coat.

Step 4:

Polish - This stage requires hand rubbing the surfaces of the vehicle with a mild cleaning polish. During this process any residual substances not removed during the main overspray removal step will be removed from the vehicle's painted surfaces, glass, trim, moldings and chrome. Vinyl and convertible tops are carefully polished. All residue is removed.

Step 5:

Wax or Reseal - This is the finishing stage. We will use the appropriate factory specified polymer-based paint sealant to finish each vehicle.

Step 6:

Re-inspection - On completion of the vehicle, we will take the claimant around for re-inspection of the vehicle. Photo documentation is available upon request. Once the claimant is satisfied, they will sign a release completing this process.

A process very similar to the one above is followed when we work on non-vehicle surfaces.
